How we got into breeding the amazing Toy Aussie....
Hi, I’m Bob!
My wife, Marta, and I own My Toy Aussie which is located in Fremont, Michigan. (That's me in the picture delivering a puppy to the UP!) A few years back, I had a massive stroke which took half my hearing, eyesight and caused me to have a permanent condition referred to as Aphasia(loss of all language skills). This made it impossible for me to work outside the home and caused me to sink into a major depression. My wife thought it would help me if I had a hobby. Since we already had a Toy Aussie and loved her, Marta decided that puppies might be a good option. Marta was right. Raising puppies has given me a purpose, something positive to focus on other than my disability. They've been therapeutic....by caring for them, I've been able to gain some of my mobility and speech back. (Thank you, Jesus!) They've been my friends through a very difficult transition in my life. I hope they will mean as much to you as they have meant to me. Thank you for your support.
